This older piece was done as a social commentary about superficiality, popularity, and trendiness; all the things we try to ‘fill’ ourselves/lives with can’t fill the most important hole.
Seems like forever ago since I drew this piece, and I remember wanting to collage it. Now I am thinking of another direction. I drew it on thinner drawing paper, otherwise I’d love to watercolor this piece. Thinking of learning new colored pencil techniques – I have SO MANY COLORED PENCILS. Ha ha ha, I need to use up all my #PrimsacolorPencils to move onto #FaberCastel? I’ll do my research later.
